Conference Weekend

Before going to Provo Friday and Saturday for the USU vs. BYU football game and Conference Weekend, Michelle and I spent a few hours making posters for our best friends who attend BYU. We gave Stephanie her poster, and while gone, we hung up Spencer and Mariah's posters in their rooms as a surprise. Here is a picture of the large banners we made, complete with pictures and notes from us.

When we arrived at BYU Friday night, we went straight to the football game with Stephanie, and cheered on our teams. Though BYU won, it was a very good game!

That night we stopped at the BYU Creamery and picked up a pizza and went back to Stephanie's apartment where we hung out and stayed the night. We spent our evening talking with just us three girls, playing games, and then later visiting with Spencer and his roommate for a while. We didn't go to bed until really late that night. It was so much fun!
On Saturday we woke up and watched Conference, went to the BYU Creamery for lunch, shopped at the BYU bookstore, and then returned to watch the second session of Conference. After the second session we went outside Stephanie's apartment and fed ducks.

We then took a walk to the Provo Temple where we walked around the Temple grounds. It was so beautiful and peaceful. I had such a fun time talking and sharing time with my two best friends.

As Michelle and I left Provo we both cried, because we had such a fun time and didn't want to say "goodbye" to Stephanie. It was so much fun to visit with her, and a few of our other friends. I hope we can go again sometime!

19 Years Old!!!

Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On September 13th I turned 19 years old!!! For the last little while I have been thinking that if I were a guy, I'd be going on a mission! That is really wild to think about, but it definitely puts life into perspective. My birthday sure was great as I celebrated with all of my family. In the morning I awoke to a giant birthday banner hanging over the stairs complete with cute notes from each family member. What a great way to wish a Happy Birthday! After church we ate a very yummy dinner complete with a pink confetti cake. Later that evening I opened presents and we also played a game of "Phase 10". I had such a great birthday and I am so blessed for the wonderful 19 years I have had so far!

Labor Day

For Labor Day my family and I went to Park City this year. We had such a good time going to Swiss Days, celebrating my brother Spencer's birthday, riding the lift, walking outside to listen to a concert at the Canyons, swimming in the pools, and going to the outlets. Here is a picture of us kids one of the nights as we listened to a concert. The other pictures are of us swimming and afterward when we were walking around the ski resort.

My First Day of College!

Just like every year with all us kids, my mom took a few pictures of me on the front step as I was headed off to school. Wow I can't believe it! I am in college! My first day at Utah State was quite the experience and I loved it! I am very excited about this upcoming year and all the fun that I am going to have!

BYU Education Week!

I spent my last week of summer at BYU Education Week with my two friends Stephanie and Michelle, and had a total blast. Not only did we enjoy going to many classes and learning, but we also spent time touring the BYUcampus, shopping, talking and laughing! We also met up with our friend Mariah and took a trip to the BYU Creamery. Here are just a few pictures of our week long adventure.
One night we found some way cool drinking straws at the dollar store that were shaped like glasses! We bought them, and the next day put them on and drank out of them during lunch. We got some pretty funny looks, which made lunch really entertaining!

On one of the other nights us girls decided to have a pampering night. We all did facemasks. We all just kept laughing as we put the masks on because it felt so rediculous. Right in the middle of our pampering we had to drive up to BYU to pick up Michelle's mom from classes. So we rode through Provo looking like this...!

I learned a lot during the week, and had an awesome time with my friends. I want to make BYU Education Week a yearly tradition!

Camping with my Buds!

This week a few of my best friends and I took a super fun, short camping trip to Bear Lake and Sunrise. We ate at La Beau's, toured the inside of Minnetonka Cave, played games, told ghost stories, sat around a fire and talked, and even cooked our breakfast (Pop Tarts) over a fire. From looking at the fully loaded car we drove in, it kind of looks like we overpacked, but let's just say we are some pro campers!

My Family Trip to Oregon!

OREGON! :)

My family and I took a week and a half vacation this July to Oregon to see my brother Nathan's mission and see all the neat attractions in Oregon.
I saw waterfalls,
found ocean life in tide pools,
smelled roses in a large botanical garden,

played in the sand at the beach,

took a walk in the redwoods,
and went to Crater Lake!

This was a fun vacation that I'll never forget!
